Social Media Strategist

About the Position:
As a Social Media Strategist, we expect you to serve as a mid-level role in client success for our Social Media Department. You work directly under our Senior Director of Social Media while further developing your abilities to handle larger accounts. This position requires strong copywriting skills and is best paired with an ability to analyze data to inform your work.
We expect the job to be around:
- 65% Organic social media management.
- 15% Paid social media management.
- 10% Client communication duties, supporting our Account Executives in communicating about your work with clients.
- 5% Working on Online Optimism’s own social media channels, advertising campaigns, and new business pitches.
- 5% Always Optimizing – work going toward improving the department over time.
