LiveIn App Stats 2022
One of the quickest-rising social apps on the marketplace, LiveIn encourages users to be more personal and present with their social-sharing networks. More intimate than Snapchat or Instagram, the app claims, “We ‘LiveIn’ a Perfect World. Share Your Moments.”1

At the conclusion of this guide, you’ll not only know what the LiveIn app is and how you use it, but also the app’s most recent statistics and why it’s currently climbing the charts.

What is the LiveIn app, and how does it work?
Launched in February of 2022 by social tech company LiveHouse Limited, LiveIn is a social networking app with a downloadable, mobile widget that allows users to send photos and drawings directly to their friends’ homescreens.
With a similar structure to apps like BeReal and Locket, LiveIn is the newest iteration of the app community’s widget-craze 2, which is quickly taking over photo-sharing platforms. Unlike BeReal and Locket, however, LiveIn gives users the ability to share videos and hand-drawn notes, as well as photos.
The notes and drawings can be placed on a variety of backgrounds, and in a multitude of colors. Links and voice memos can also be attached to give the message an extra layer of personality. You can even “duet” with your friends, taking a photo or video and then sending the link to complete the “co-shot”.3
And yes, it is just as cute as it sounds. Each photo, drawing, or note from your friend resembles a little window on your home screen, where you can wave or write hello whenever you like! In addition, LiveIn will store these photos and messages in the “My Moments” section of the app, ensuring that none of your interactions are ever lost.
Likewise, the app includes a “world” feature4, which lets you share and view content from any LiveIn user. You can browse the “world” feed, liking, commenting on, and following whichever profiles interest you.
Where can I download the LiveIn app?
Available on the App Store and Google Play, this app is free and ready to start whenever you are!
How many monthly users does LiveIn have?
Only two months after their February 2022 launch, LiveHouse Limited announced in a press release5 that LiveIn had reached 4 million active monthly users.
How is LiveIn related to TikTok?
The uptick in LiveIn’s monthly users is primarily due to the app’s increasing popularity on the social app TikTok. In the same LiveHouse Limited press release (April 2022), the company said the hashtags #liveinapp and #Livepic had more than 40 million views on TikTok. As of July 2022, those hashtags have 312.9 million and 38.8 million views, respectively.6
How many people have downloaded the LiveIn app?
In April of 2022, LiveHouse Limited also reported that LiveIn had topped both the free app chart and social networking chart in the U.S. Apple Store, while also becoming one of the most downloaded apps across iOS and Google Play in Europe, South America, and the Middle East.7
In which countries is the LiveIn app available?
As mentioned above, LiveIn is available in various countries, including the United States and countries throughout Europe, Asia, and South America.
Is the LiveIn app safe?
With LiveIn’s dedication to immediate photo-sharing and messaging capabilities, many people have asked about the app’s safety features. LiveIn users have the option of sharing their photos and messages with only their friends and followers, or on the global “world” feed. Once content is shared using the “world” feature, any LiveIn user has the capability of liking and (or) commenting on the post, as well as sending friend requests to the original poster. To avoid receiving unsolicited friend requests or comments on your posts, users should limit their photo and message-sharing to their inner circle of friends.
However, LiveIn has assured potential users that the app has age-friendly community guidelines, as well as a system designed for reporting harmful content. Furthermore, LiveIn also has a moderation team that works to review photos sent to the public and minimize the risk of inappropriate content.8
