Job Responsibilities
Depending on your strengths, you may develop skills in:
- Planning and coordinating the creation of short form videos.
- Filming short form videos for social media.
- Editing videos using a variety of tools.
- Trend research within social media.

Who are we looking for?
- Experience in social media video trend research.
- Skills with TikTok, CapCut, Instagram Reels, Edits, After Effects, or other social media video creation tools.
- Confidence in being in front of the camera.
What We Offer

- You apply. Our team excitedly opens up your application.
- Strong candidates will be contacted via email for an initial interview.
- You do an initial phone interview with Sara, our Operations Director, followed by a three-hour timed assignment. This assignment is for fake clients, and you’re provided with a $75 Visa gift card as compensation.
- We’ll review all of the interview notes and assignments and select the top 2–3 candidates.
- Those candidates will meet with Meara (Senior Social Media Director) for a recorded final 15–45 minute interview. Afterwards, you will complete a 2-hour assignment for fake clients, after which you will get a $35 gift card for your time spent on it.
- We make the top applicant an offer, and provide you with 2–3 days to make a decision. You (hopefully) accept and become an Optimist for the season!
