Non-Profit Spotlight: Be Loud Studios
Overview
Be Loud Studios is a non-profit organization committed to amplifying kids’ confidence through radio production. The platform allows kids to share their stories and broadcast them to the larger community to inspire them to become more active changemakers, listeners, and culture bearers. The focus of Be Loud Studios is to ensure that kids know that their opinions, ideas, and perspectives are valued and should be expressed.
In addition to their ongoing initiatives, events, and classes, Be Loud has an upcoming Youth Voice Festival, taking place later this month, to celebrate its youth members and their accomplishments. Register here, and read on to learn more about this exciting event!

Do you want to hear stories from kids in their voices? Be Loud episodes are on air every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. on 102.3 FM WHV.

Youth Voice Festival
Join Be Loud Studio on Saturday, March 23 from 11 am – 1 pm for their Youth Voice Festival. The festival will be at Baldwin and Co at 1030 Elysian Fields Ave. The event is free and open to the public, but be sure to register beforehand!
The Youth Voice Festival will include:
- Listening tables exhibiting teacher projects
- Live podcasts facilitated by Be Loud DJs
- Community showcase with partner organizations
- Festival DJ and Food Vendors
