What You’ll Do
As a contract content creator with Online Optimism, you’ll help us produce engaging video content for our clients across various industries. One day you might be filming a trend for a B2B company, the next you could be creating educational content for a healthcare practice. Every project is different, and that’s what makes it exciting.
You’ll receive project briefs from our team with specific requirements – sometimes fully scripted videos, other times trending formats we want you to put your own spin on. We’ll provide the concept and direction, and you’ll bring it to life with your creativity and production skills. You don’t need to worry about editing, though! Our staff has that covered.
We need creators who can work independently and deliver high-quality content on deadline. You should be comfortable filming yourself, have a good eye for what makes content look good, and be familiar with what works on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Most importantly, you need your own professional setup. This means a high-quality camera or iPhone, proper lighting equipment, and clear audio recording capabilities. We’re not looking for Hollywood production value, but your content should look polished and professional enough to represent our clients’ brands.
The Details
This is project-based contract work, which means the workload varies. Some weeks you might not hear from us, other weeks we might have several videos for you to create. We pay hourly for your time.
You’ll need to be available for quick turnarounds occasionally – social media moves fast, and sometimes our clients need to jump on trends while they’re hot. But we’ll always give you as much notice as possible.
