About Amanda
Amanda Cassingham-Bardwell is a visual artist and designer from Algiers on the New Orleans West Bank. She attended New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts with Tufts University in Boston. At Online Optimism, Amanda creates graphics and animations for social media, builds brand identities, and designs websites. She also maintains an art gallery practice which includes drawing, animation, installation, and performance. Her work has been included in the New Orleans Film Festival and the Joan Mitchell Center Residency Program. She is a former member of Antenna Gallery and the New Orleans Draw-A-Thon. When not designing or creating art, she enjoys tabletop and board games, bicycling, and planting trees.
