Video Editor
Online Optimism is a creative digital marketing agency based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We work with a wide range of clients across industries, and our team is known for producing high-quality, people-first work.
We’re looking for a freelance video editor & asset manager to support our Creative team on an ongoing basis. This role is fully remote and will be managed by our Creative Director.
Creative Team
What You’ll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for client campaigns and social media
- Organize and manage video and photo assets following production days (file naming, folder structure, asset refinement)
- Edit photos as needed, if that’s in your wheelhouse
A freelancer with
- Proficiency in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
- Experience with Frame.io or similar file review/management platforms (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with photo editing in Adobe Photoshop (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote setting
- Familiarity with Slack and project management tools
Logistics
- 100% remote
- Estimated 2–10 hours per week, depending on your rate and project volume (standardized at point of hire)
- You’ll be added to our Slack, Teamwork, and Frame.io to stay connected with the team
